On July 5, 1949 Irv and Lorraine Workman first opened the doors of their Heating and Sheet Metal business on Main st. in downtown Morrison. Soon, Air Conditioning and Plumbing was added to their list of services. As the business grew, the need to expand became evident, so they moved across the street into a larger building. Another move brought them to the current location on Route 30 East of Morrison.
The start of 2008 brought another change as a Reorganization took place, and brother Jim and Bob separated the services of Workman plumbing , Heating , and Cooling. Jim and Jeff will continue to operate Workman Heating and Cooling at the current location -- Route 30 East of Morrison.
Jim and Jeff know a thing or two about home heating and cooling. Energy efficiency and the overall " go green" effort has brought many changes to the industry.
